Bay Door Clinic

Bay Door Clinic is a therapy practice in San Francisco offering individual, couples, family, and group sessions, in-person and by telehealth across California. I built the site on a custom WordPress theme (ACF Pro for the editable fields, an options page for footer/CTA content) rather than a page builder. The identity centers on a simple arch mark evoking the Golden Gate, paired with a deep teal and warm orange palette, a custom line-icon set for nine therapy modalities, and a row of real insurance-network logos on the services page.

Alongside the main site I built three campaign landing pages, each targeted at a specific reason someone might start looking for a therapist: work stress and burnout, relationship strain, and family or child concerns. Each follows the same structure: a common-concerns grid, an approach checklist, a “who we work with” and insurance section, and a closing call-to-action band, with copy tailored to that specific audience rather than one generic page trying to speak to everyone.

The clinician directory was built on GeoDirectory, giving visitors a searchable, filterable grid of providers by specialty, modality, and session type (in-person or telehealth), each with a credential line and a short bio. This case study is a reconstruction: the project reached an advanced design-and-content stage but the site never shipped to a public URL and is no longer online, so real provider photos appear here with names replaced by “Provider Name” and no other identifying detail.
